Ali Boone never expected to be a real estate investor. She wanted to become a pilot but knew that pilots starting out don't get paid that much. Instead, Ali became an aerospace engineer. Her work took her into an underground tunnel and into a cubicle. This is not what Ali had in mind for a dream... She knew she had to do something about it.
To get out of her job, Ali realized she either had to start a business or invest in real estate. She invested $40K into a deal in Nicaragua... only to have the money disappear before construction on the project was set to begin. The connections Ali made in the deal proved to beneficial and helped her to achieve the freedom she was looking for.
From her connections, Ali learned all about the world of turnkey investing. This is when Ali realized that she could be a real estate investor and not have to work a whole lot. Turnkey investing was supposed to be her side business until she found she was going to lose her W-2 income. Ali never felt comfortable quitting her job but understood that it would light a fire under her that would allow her to become successful!
